Ice Age Gaming came to us as a growing gaming community in East Africa that had outgrown its informal visual identity. They needed a brand that spoke to their tech-savvy audience — bold, modern, and unmistakably African. The challenge was creating something that felt premium without losing the community energy that made them popular.
They didn't just need a logo. They needed an identity that could scale from Discord banners to merchandise.

Research & positioning
We started by mapping the competitive landscape — gaming brands in East Africa and globally. We defined Ice Age Gaming's positioning: a premium African gaming community that bridges local culture with global gaming aesthetics.
Visual identity
We developed a bold colour palette inspired by ice and fire contrasts, a custom wordmark with sharp geometric edges, and a visual language that balanced gaming culture with African artistic influences.
Brand application
The identity was rolled out across Discord, social media, streaming overlays, and merchandise. Every touchpoint was designed to feel cohesive and instantly recognisable.
